Where we are and who does the work →Questions we hear often.
How is this different from hiring a bookkeeper?
You get a team instead of one person: an accountant for the day-to-day and a controller for the monthly review, for less than the cost of one in-house hire, and without recruiting, training or turnover.
Where is your team based?
Our team is based in Latin America and works U.S. business hours, in English and Spanish. Every monthly close is reviewed by our lead controller. See how we work and protect your data.
I already have a bookkeeper. Is switching complicated?
No, we handle it. Before we start, we review your books and draft the email your current bookkeeper needs to hand over access and files. You just forward it, and your monthly close continues without a gap.
I'm months behind on my books. Can you still take me on?
Yes. Most new clients start with a catch-up. We review your books first and quote the catch-up separately, as a fixed price, before starting. Once you're current, the monthly service takes over.
Who will I talk to?
Your accountant handles the day-to-day, and our controller reviews every close. You reach us by email on every plan, and the monthly review call comes with Growth and up. Pro adds video support and Scale adds phone.
Do you prepare tax returns?
No. We work with your CPA and hand them clean, reconciled books and the schedules they need.
Is there a free trial?
The 30-minute intro call is free. A written review of your books costs $150 and is credited to your onboarding if you sign up, so you know your exact monthly price before committing.
Which software do you use?
QuickBooks Online and Xero, plus the payroll, bill-pay and expense tools you already use, such as Gusto, Bill.com and Ramp. We're members of the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program, and QuickBooks Online and Xero certification is part of our team's onboarding.
How does billing work?
Onboarding is one month's fee, paid at signing. Then one invoice at the start of each month, by card or ACH on file. Annual plans get 10% off, paid quarterly. Catch-up projects are quoted and billed separately.
Free guides to read your own books.
Practical articles for owners: how a month gets closed, what your reports say and what to ask of anyone who keeps your books. No sign-up.
Five signs your books are actually closed
A self-check you can run in 20 minutes: if your books pass all five, you can trust your P&L.
Let's look at your books together.
A 30-minute conversation. No sales pitch, no obligation. You'll leave knowing what your books need.
After you book, you get an email right away and we confirm your time within one business day. We don't share your details or send you marketing.
