Where we are, who does the work, and how your data stays yours.
You're trusting people you haven't met with your numbers. Here's exactly how it works, so there are no surprises.
A team in Latin America, working U.S. business hours, with a controller reviewing every close.
- Our team is based in Latin America. We work U.S. business hours, in English and Spanish. Certification in QuickBooks Online and Xero is part of every team member's onboarding.
- Every monthly close is reviewed by Antonio Vedilei, our lead controller, before anything reaches you. He has 12+ years leading finance for U.S. companies in biotech, agribusiness, SaaS and manufacturing.
- You don't manage anyone. You get a result (books closed, a report and the answers to your questions), not a person to supervise.
- Want to know which countries? Ask us and we'll tell you on the call.
Your books live in your own QuickBooks Online or Xero. We work inside them.
- Your subscription, your data. You own the QuickBooks Online or Xero account. We're invited in as your accounting firm. If you ever leave, you remove our access and keep everything.
- Named users, always. Every person who touches your books has their own login under their own name. No shared passwords, ever.
- Multi-factor authentication on every account we use to access your systems.
- Bank access is read-only. We see transactions through your accounting software's bank feed. We never hold your online banking credentials.
- No tax returns. We keep books and prepare a year-end package for your CPA. We don't prepare returns, so we don't ask for your personal tax information.
We prepare. You approve. Only you release funds.
- We prepare vendor bills and payment runs for your review; you approve every payment in your own system (QuickBooks, Xero, BILL or your bank).
- We send customer invoices and follow up on collections on your behalf; payments land in your account, never in ours.
- We never move money, hold funds or have signing authority on your accounts.
What happens if someone on our team leaves, or you do.
- If someone on our team leaves, your procedures and closing calendar are documented from onboarding, so the next person starts where the last one stopped, not from zero. We tell you before any change, not after.
- If you leave, you give 30 days' notice. We close the last month, hand over a clean set of books and a list of what's where, and remove our access. No export fees, no lock-in, no "your data is in our system".
- If we ever couldn't continue (we don't plan to, but you should know), your books are already in your own account with your own login. Nothing of yours lives only with us.
You always know where things stand.
- A reply within one business day to any question, by email.
- A fixed closing calendar you receive at onboarding: when we need documents from you, and when your report arrives (business day 10, or 5 on Scale).
- A monthly written note with what changed and what to watch, plus a review call on Growth and Scale. If something doesn't add up, we tell you in writing, with the number.
Security questions we hear.
Do you have a SOC 2 report?
Not as a firm; SOC 2 is built for software companies and large providers. What we rely on is the security of the systems you already use (QuickBooks Online and Xero maintain their own independent security audits), plus named users and multi-factor authentication on our side.
Can I talk to the people doing the work?
Yes. You talk directly with the people who work on your books, by email or on a call. Nobody hands you off to a ticket queue.
Who sees my data?
Only the people assigned to your account and your controller. Access is granted per client, under each person's own name, and removed the day someone stops working on your account.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
It stays where it always was: in your own QuickBooks Online or Xero. We hand over our working files and remove our access.
Questions about how we work? Ask them on the call.
A 30-minute conversation. No sales pitch, no obligation.
